The use of other anticoagulant drugs, such as coumarin anticoagulants, heparin, high-dose aspirin, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, may increase the risk of bleeding.

Patients with a history of heparin induced thrombocytopenia should use it with caution.
