1. Effect and Function

2. Medication precautions

(1) Risk of hyperkalemia: especially in patients with renal insufficiency, diabetes or those taking ARB, NSAIDs and other drugs at the same time, the risk is higher. During the treatment period, blood potassium levels should be continuously monitored until the efficacy stabilizes.

(2) Omission treatment: If one dose is missed, there is no need to supplement it. It can be taken at the next regular medication time.

(3) Drug interactions: When used in combination with moderate CYP3A inhibitors, the dosage should be adjusted according to individual pharmacokinetics.

3. Side effects and treatment

(1) Common side effects: Elevated blood cholesterol and triglyceride levels, requiring regular monitoring.

(2) Overtreatment: In cases of severe hypotension or hyperkalemia, symptomatic supportive treatment is necessary, such as fluid replacement, potassium lowering resin, etc. When hemodialysis is ineffective, activated carbon adsorption can be attempted.
