During the use of donepezil transdermal patches, some users may experience skin reactions, sleep disturbances, or muscle discomfort. The following are targeted management measures to help you smoothly navigate through the adaptation period.

1、 Skin irritation (redness, itching, dryness)

Strict rotation of areas: Every time the patch is changed, it must be moved to a new position (alternating between the upper arm, back, and chest), with a minimum interval of 7 days between the same area.

Pre treatment before application: Clean the skin with water, thoroughly wipe dry before applying; Avoid using alcohol or moisturizer.

Post paste care: After removing the old paste, clean the residual glue mark with mild shower gel, pat it dry and apply essence free moisturizing milk (avoid the new paste position).

Serious reaction: If blisters, persistent burning pain, or spreading rash appear, stop using immediately and contact a doctor.

2、 Insomnia (difficulty falling asleep or waking up easily at night)

Adjust the application time: If insomnia is obvious at night, you can try applying in the morning (after breakfast) to make the peak blood drug concentration correspond to the daytime activity period.

Optimize sleeping environment: keep the bedroom dark and cool; Disable electronic screens one hour before bedtime.

Avoid irritants: Do not drink coffee, strong tea, or nicotine containing products in the afternoon.
