The administration time of Biktarvy should strictly follow the principle of daily fixed time administration to maintain a stable blood drug concentration and ensure antiviral efficacy. This medication is usually taken orally once a day, and meals do not affect its absorption, but attention should be paid to the timing of interactions with other medications.

1. Conventional dosing regimen

(1) Standard usage: Adults and adolescents weighing ≥ 25kg should take one tablet once a day, one tablet each time. The entire tablet should be swallowed and not chewed.

(2) Time selection: It is recommended to take it at the same time in the morning or evening, with a deviation of no more than ± 2 hours.

2 Special circumstances adjustment

(1) Omission treatment: If the missed dose does not exceed 18 hours, it should be taken immediately. If it exceeds 18 hours, the dose should be skipped and cannot be taken twice.

(2) Renal insufficiency: Patients with creatinine clearance rate of 30-89mL/min do not need to adjust, while those with creatinine clearance rate less than 30mL/min need to assess medication risk.

3. Timing of Combination Medication

(1) Metal ion preparations: Antacids containing aluminum/magnesium should be taken every 2 hours, while calcium/iron preparations should be taken every 6 hours.

(2) Anticonvulsant drugs: When used in combination with carbamazepine, virological response should be monitored and the dosing regimen adjusted if necessary.
