Lifnua, a novel anti fibrotic drug, is mainly used to treat idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and improve patients' lung function by inhibiting the fibrosis process. 1. Drug Overview

Jifapisheng tablets are approved oral anti fibrotic drugs in recent years, targeting and regulating key fibrotic pathways. As a second-line treatment option for IPF, its efficacy and safety have been validated in clinical trials, providing an alternative solution for patients with poor efficacy of traditional drugs such as pirfenidone.

2 Indications

(1) Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)

Suitable for long-term treatment of adult IPF patients, especially for patients with moderate disease progression, the effect is significant. Its indications are similar to pirfenidone, but its target of action is different.

(1) Anti fibrotic effect

By selectively inhibiting the transforming growth factor - β (TGF - β) signaling pathway, collagen deposition and myofibroblast activation are reduced.

4 Usage and Dosage

(1) Standard dose

The recommended starting dose is 200mg orally once daily, which can be increased to 400mg daily based on tolerance. It should be taken with meals to improve bioavailability.

(2) Dose adjustment

Patients with liver dysfunction should reduce their dosage by 50%, and it is not recommended for those with severe renal impairment. Elderly patients do not need to adjust their dosage.

(1) Pregnancy and lactation period

Animal studies have shown embryotoxicity and are contraindicated during pregnancy. Breastfeeding should be suspended during lactation medication.

(2) Children's medication

Insufficient safety data for patients under 18 years old, not recommended for use.
