The correct administration of Vemlidy fumarate tablets requires strict adherence to dosage standards, time requirements, and special population adjustment principles to ensure maximum drug efficacy and reduce the risk of adverse reactions.

1. Standard usage and dosage

(1) Adults and adolescents (≥ 12 years old and weighing ≥ 35kg): Take 25mg (1 tablet) once a day, and swallow the entire tablet.

(2) Medication time: It is recommended to take it at the same time every day, without considering before or after meals.

Adjustment for Special Groups 2

(1) Renal insufficiency: creatinine clearance rate of 30-49mL/min is reduced to 25mg every 48 hours; for 15-29mL/min, it is reduced to 25mg twice a week.

(2) End stage renal disease patients: medication should be administered once a week at a dose of 25mg after completion of hemodialysis.

3 Precautions for taking

(1) Whole tablet ingestion: Do not chew, crush or break the tablet to avoid affecting the drug release characteristics.

(2) Omission treatment: If the missed dose does not exceed 18 hours, it should be taken immediately. If it exceeds 18 hours, the dose will be skipped.

(3) Drug interactions: Aluminum/magnesium antacids should be taken every 4 hours, while calcium/iron preparations should be taken every 2 hours.

4 Monitoring requirements

(1) Renal function monitoring: Regular monitoring of creatinine clearance rate is required before and during treatment.

(2) Virological response: Changes in HBV DNA levels should be evaluated after 3-6 months of medication.
