Fumarate propofol tenofovir tablets (Vemlidy) are a nucleotide analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitor mainly used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B virus infection, with high antiviral activity and good safety characteristics.

1. Main indications

(1) Used to treat chronic hepatitis B patients aged 12 years and above with a weight of ≥ 35kg.

(2) Long term antiviral therapy suitable for patients with compensatory liver disease.

2 Characteristics of applicable population

(1) Suitable for patients with chronic hepatitis B who are HBV DNA positive.

(2) Can be used for antiviral therapy in both newly diagnosed and treated patients.

3 Treatment Objectives

(1) Effectively inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus and reduce the level of serum HBV DNA.

(2) Improve liver histological lesions, alleviate liver inflammation and fibrosis.

4. Use by special groups

(1) Patients with renal insufficiency need to adjust the dosage of medication according to creatinine clearance rate.

(2) HIV co infected individuals need to use other antiretroviral drugs in combination.
