Common side effects of atorvastatin calcium tablets (Lipitor) include muscle symptoms, liver enzyme abnormalities, and digestive system reactions, most of which can be relieved by adjusting the dosage or symptomatic treatment. Serious adverse reactions require immediate medical attention. The following categories describe the manifestations of side effects and corresponding measures.

1. Common side effects and alleviation

(1) Muscle symptoms account for about 5% -10% of patients experiencing muscle pain and weakness, usually mild and dose-dependent. Suggest supplementing with coenzyme Q10 and avoiding vigorous exercise. If the CK value is greater than 5 times the normal upper limit or accompanied by myoglobinuria, the medication should be discontinued.
