The special storage conditions and health management of benzocaine sustained-release tablets can optimize drug efficacy and reduce the risk of adverse reactions.

1. Storage environment

(1) Temperature requirement: It should be stored in a room temperature environment of 20 ° C to 25 ° C (68 ° F to 77 ° F), with a short-term fluctuation range of 15 ° C to 30 ° C (59 ° F to 86 ° F) allowed.

(2) Humidity control: Keep the original packaging sealed to avoid moisture and deterioration, and do not store in damp places such as bathrooms.

(3) Light avoidance measures: Keep away from direct sunlight and store in the original aluminum foil packaging to prevent photodegradation.

2. Dietary management

(1) Limit saturated fat intake to no more than 10% of total calories per day, and avoid high-fat foods such as animal fats and fried foods.

(2) Increase dietary fiber to 25-30 grams per day, preferably choosing oats, beans, and fresh fruits and vegetables, which can be combined with bile acid excretion.

3. Exercise guidance

5. Monitoring requirements

(1) During the initial stage of treatment, liver function (ALT/AST) should be tested every 4-8 weeks, and after stabilization, it should be rechecked every 3-6 months.

(2) Monitor creatine kinase (CK) on a monthly basis during statin therapy to be alert to the risk of rhabdomyolysis.

(3) Recheck the blood lipid profile every 3 months and adjust the treatment plan based on LDL-C and non-HDL-C target values.
