The medication of Capmatinib in special populations needs to be adjusted or discontinued according to pregnancy, lactation, liver and kidney function, etc. Elderly patients usually do not need to adjust, but the safety of children has not been established.

1. Medication during pregnancy and lactation

(1) Pregnancy: May cause harm to the fetus. Women of childbearing age should take effective contraceptive measures during treatment and within one week after discontinuing medication.

(2) Breastfeeding period: It is not clear whether the medication is secreted through breast milk. It is recommended to suspend breastfeeding during the treatment period and within one week after discontinuing the medication.

2. Medication for children and the elderly

(1) Children: Currently, there is no established safety and efficacy data for patients under 18 years old.

(2) Elderly: There is no significant difference in pharmacokinetics between patients over 65 years old and young adults, and dose adjustment is usually not necessary.

3. Patients with liver dysfunction

(1) Mild to moderate damage: Close monitoring of liver function is necessary as there may be an increase in drug exposure.

(2) Severe impairment: There is a lack of research data for Child Pugh C patients, and it is recommended to avoid or reduce their use.

4. Patients with renal insufficiency

(1) Mild to moderate damage: No dose adjustment required, but regular monitoring of renal function is necessary.

(2) Severe damage: No relevant research has been conducted yet, it is recommended to use with caution.

5. Influence on reproductive ability

(1) Male patients: May reduce sperm quality, contraceptive measures should be taken during treatment and one week after discontinuation of medication.
