Axitinib is a targeted drug for lung cancer, but it needs to be discontinued or used with caution in some populations due to safety risks. The following are key taboos and precautions.

1、 Absolutely prohibited population

1. Individuals allergic to osimertinib or its excipients

Individuals with a history of allergic reactions are strictly prohibited from using it.

2. Those who are using St. John's wort (Forsythia suspensa)

This herb significantly reduces the blood concentration of Axitinib, leading to treatment failure, and its combination is prohibited.

2、 Severe liver and kidney dysfunction patients

3. Severe liver dysfunction (Child Pugh C grade)

Patients with severe liver injury have significantly increased drug exposure and increased risk of toxicity, and are generally not recommended for use; If medication is necessary, it should be reduced under close monitoring.

4. End stage renal disease (creatinine clearance rate<30mL/min) or dialysis patients

This group of people lacks sufficient safety data and it is not recommended to use osimertinib.
