Indications for Rituximab

Suitable for treating ocular surface inflammation and symptoms in patients with dry eye syndrome, by inhibiting the interaction between lymphocyte function associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) and intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), the inflammatory response is reduced.

Mainly used for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye syndrome in adult patients aged 18 and above, it can improve the symptoms and signs of eye discomfort, such as burning sensation, foreign body sensation, and visual fluctuations.

2. Precautions for the use of Rituximab

(1) Usage method

Twice a day, one drop each time, with an interval of about 12 hours. Wash hands before use and avoid contact between the bottle mouth and eyes or any surface to prevent contamination.

(2) Adverse reaction monitoring

Common eye irritation symptoms such as burning and stinging are usually mild and brief. If severe eye pain, visual changes, or allergic reactions occur, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention sought.
